ELC Summer programme 2025

Summer Festival of the Arts 2025 | Y1 Programme

Explore, create, and innovate at our Summer Festival of the Arts — an immersive experience designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, children engage in dynamic, hands-on workshops each morning and afternoon, blending science, storytelling, design, and the arts to inspire joyful, meaningful learning through play and discovery.

Through these focused workshops, your child will develop cognitive, language, physical, and social skills while exploring their own interests and imagination — all within our beautiful, nature-rich campus environment.

Session 1: (23 June ~ 27 June)  &  (30 June ~ 4 July)

Session 2: (29 July ~ 1 August)  &  (4 August ~ 8 August)

Session 1: Global Geographers
Children will set off on an exciting adventure around the world through maps, cultures, environments, and the ways people connect with one another. With hands-on activities and shared exploration, they will spark their curiosity, grow their global awareness, and begin to think like young geographers, discovering how places and people are connected all around us. Children will create and design their own maps, dive into dramatic play and storytelling, and naturally build literacy and math skills along the way. This experience encourages curiosity, kindness, and a joyful early understanding of our world, both close to home and far away.
Session 2: Young Engineers
Dive into a maze of shapes and patterns as we invite children to explore, visualize and design their own structures through hands-on experiences and learning opportunities. Look at photographs of architecture and buildings from around the world and be inspired to construct your own designs and structures. Investigate symmetry, foundations and load bearing bridges. Share narrations and dramas about our creations through book making. Discover and explore tools, construction vehicles, signage, workers and demolition!
