Summer Festival of
the Arts 2026
A summer that shapes more than memories.
The skills children develop in these early years: curiosity, resilience, the ability to collaborate and create. These are not extras. They are the foundations that everything else is built on.
At ELC, summer is not a pause between terms. It is part of the same continuous learning journey we offer throughout the year. Grounded in 40 years of early childhood expertise and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and Harvard Project Zero, our Summer Festival of the Arts is built around a single belief: childhood is not a waiting room. It is the foundation of everything that follows.
Children don’t just take part. They question, experiment, construct, collaborate, and make sense of what they discover. Guided by ELC’s own educators, the same teachers who build our learning culture every day, their thinking becomes visible, and their confidence becomes real.
Every experience is intentionally designed.
Across weeks, children move through hands-on and minds-on experiences, each one connected, each one purposeful.
Science • Robotics • Coding • Storytelling • World Building • Graphic Design • Visual Arts • Sports • Drone Lab • and much more!
Our own educators
Every experience is led by ELC’s own educators, the same people who understand how children at ELC think, learn, and grow. The relationship, the approach, and the care carry through.
Depth over coverage
Children are not moved from one activity to the next. They are given time, space, and an educator who listens, to go further.
Learning made visible
Process matters as much as outcome. Children see how they think, and build habits of curiosity and reflection that stay long after summer ends.
Every child known
Intentionally small groups. No child is a number. Educators fit the experience to the child, not the other way around.
