Atelier of Future Artisans
In ‘The Atelier of Future Artisans’, children learn how technology supports learning and contributes to build knowledge.
As educators, we have found that technology used in our school can be a valuable tool for the representation and organization of ideas, collaboration among a specific learning community, visualization and reflection on thinking, and communication of learning to the broader community.
Our experiences and reflections suggest that the integration of technology supports knowledge construction of both children and teachers.
All young children need to interact with their environments to achieve maximum development and learning. Technology has great potential for supporting the learning needs of all children in our community. We continue to experiment and try new technologies for purposes such as documentation, assessment, communication, and training.
