During our month-long ‘Festival of Children’s Literature’, we have been celebrating our love of reading and all the ways in which books enrich our lives. At break times, the children have been greeted with a read-aloud by staff members in the Greek Theatre. The Festival will culminate tomorrow with the ‘Elephant Trunk Book Awards’ and the ‘Book Character Parade’, and we will showcase some of the innovative costumes and designs next week, along with the winning books. Here is Ms Jem, giving her ‘in costume’ reading of the wildly funny, ’The Book With No Pictures’ by B. J. Novak.

Rooted in curiosity, innovation, and empathy, this vibrant project brings science, technology, and creativity together—proving that when children lead, they grow not just in knowledge, but in character and purpose.
