Year 4 Field Trip in Kanchanaburi

After the mid-term break, our Year 4 children enjoyed their first residential field trip in Kanchanaburi. They had a wonderful adventure-filled time: the children explored the River Kwai bridge and learnt about its historical significance in the Railway Centre; they flexed their ‘green fingers’ delving into the world of composting and planting; and at the Somboon Legacy, a non-profit elephant sanctuary, they learnt about the importance of creating a safe rehabilitation space for these gentle giants.

Time spent together in nature, learning, playing, and connecting, made for a memorable, enriching experience for everyone.

Where Storytelling begins…
We have an exciting new space at the City School in our Thai house, dedicated to storytelling and writing. Over the past few weeks, Ms. Rachael, our Literacy Coordinator, has invited the children into this space to explore its delights, to take a journey through literature, and to dream up ideas.
